WSC 2008 has finished!  

Dear WSC 2008 guests,

Thank you very much for attending the WSC 2008 conference. The statistics show that the general interest in the WSC conference this year was very high. We had 33,367 different user accesses from 43 countries. 151 people signed up to WSC to discuss their scientific disciplines in our Chat rooms and the Forum. All selected 60 publications were excellent and showed the wide range of soft computing applications to date. Audio and slide presentations allowed a detailed discussion of the papers. This year we also had also a lot of theoretical papers. These theoretical contributions complemented the papers about the practical applications of soft computing.

We want to highlight two papers that were recommended for a prize by the reviewers. These papers had also outstanding online statistics. The selection of two single papers was extremely difficult because of the high quality of all the other papers.

All papers with a slide presentation and which fit the Springer format are applicable for publishing in the proceedings book. The Springer book will appear middle of next year. Authors wanting their paper to be published in the proceedings will be asked to order a copy of the book. You will hear from us soon.
